one, two, three, four
tell me that you love me more
sleepless, long nights
that was what my youth was for
oh teenage hope arrive at your door
left you with nothing
but they want some more
you're changing your heart.

driving always allows for some quiet time by myself to reflect about whatever's been going on.
it scares me how vulnerable i can be, despite how much i try to appear strong and impenetrable. i try so hard to build this wall, and it's not the huge malicious bulldozers that wind up penetrating it. despite how much care i put into making this wall perfect and faultless, there are little cracks in it caused by the wear and tear of time. through these cracks, light shines through and for that one moment in time i feel completely exposed. i desperately search for something to shield me, but after a while i realize that it's okay to be vulnerable. to be cared for instead of having to care for someone. maybe it's time i let myself be the baby. you know, to be cuddled and held. completely incapable of caring for myself.
maybe it's time to screw everything over and just let go.
moving on to less umm "serious" things. quote of the day:
she: "are you an engineer?"
he: "yes, i am." (no, he is lying)
she: "ohhh, no wonder you are socially awkward."
he: completely owned.
