the sadistic part of me is coming out.
rotting at my desk has made me realize how much i used to seek pain and how much i miss it now.
i remember how i used to go for multiple trainings in a day and never ever got the chance to eat something in between. those hunger pangs motivated me to push myself harder so i could ignore the pain of hunger.
i remember running those rounds around the pitch until my lungs burnt. a metallic taste would linger at the back of my throat and sometimes i actually liked the taste of it. i remember how i would push myself to finish that round faster than others because i never wanted to be left behind. the burning pain in my muscles. my sides felt like that were multiple knives stabbed into them. i remember how much it hurt and i did not want people to know that i was hurting. i would keel over for a moment, want to puke but hold it in. i would give everyone a round of high5s and then run off to gobble down some water to wash away the taste of blood in my mouth.
remember how pain is pleasure? i was addicted to that feeling. i liked how my body ached so hard the next day after a good round of training.

eric prydz at pacha
caught his gig at pacha on friday night because my room mates are huge fans of his. at first it was really fun, but then after a while the songs kinda sounded the same. but i mean how different can it get right? just like all other kinds of music, the sounds are basically the same except the lyrics change. so yep. but it was fun nonetheless EXCEPT for the stupid bunch of rawdy angmohs. i stabbed my heel into one of their shins because he kept BANGING INTO ME. and he let out this huge yelp and kept cussing at whoever was the one who kicked him. hurhur. HIS OWN FAULT.
yay! thanksgiving break is approaching. the work on my desk is slowly diminishing. a much deserved break :D excited!

okay i feel stupid. i forgot i have to go for the fall out boy's concert with my room mates and the worse thing is, i don't really know the band. hurhur. but the good news is that plain white t's and gym class heroes will be opening for them :) so at least i know them and am excited about that part! hahaha :)

my apartment!

our living room. the paintings were done by my suitemates. pretty creative huh.
hurhur.
our rather tiny kitchen. it can get rather busy when 8 people wanna eat at the same time.
or when we are preparing for thursday night family dinners.
there's no space to put the food!
that's the only annoying part though.

but anyway the parade was people in costumes marching the whole of 6th ave. it was damn fun!
we saw people like paris hilton and nicole ritchie jailbirds. no not the real people.

NYE! :D i'm making plans for NYE! hahahaa just because i got ditched by andrew :( he got work. and now that he drives he can ferry me around. ahaha not that i would want that. i like the independence of driving around.

i miss my family! it must be the fact that i may be missing xmas with my family and those mushy emails we have been sharing recently.
my dad came to newyork to visit me the other week! :D he was in town for a convention. apparently it was pretty disappointing but he met some people that could help him with the business. so that's good. sooo on to the good part. we met up with my brother! :D he seems to be settling in so well at wharton except the fact that he is losing alot of weight while i'm gaining. hurhur. i know to cook that's why. he only know how to cook spaghetti. i bet he is really sick of it. thank God my mother got my dad to smuggle some food for him. hahaha and he replied in a very enthu manner that the food was damn good. hahaha i found it hilarious. i bet for those who have met my brother, you would know that he is hardly the kind of guy that would use exclamation marks. and in the email he was like !! and !! about err food and life in general.
ahhh. WITHDRAWAL from the lim family. cannot take it.

anyway, guys heads up i'm officially 13hours behind singapore. and i still don't get the point of it since no one actually does anymore farming around here. okay fine. maybe the amish do. BUT i don't really see them bothering about clocks. okay i sound like i'm attacking them. i'm not but the days are getting shorter and i like my sunshine. it's FREAKING FREEZING HERE.
the weather has been getting colder and colder and wetter and wetter. and the wind has been getting stronger and stronger. there was once when i was walking home and when i cross a block i was blown like 1metre away from my path. and this guy kinda like "saved" me. NOT that i could not have gained back my own balance, mind you but whatever. the wind was THAT strong and plus i didn't expect it so maybe i could have resisted it better. to make things worse, the wind is BONE CHILLING. it seriously hurts. it's sooooo cold that you can feel your joints contract. ahhh i have no idea how i'm gonna survive. but yeah all's good in ny.
hahahaa which reminds me. i was walking to school once when i saw this bulldog peeing. it was hilarious. where the trees are grown, it's kinda like elevated. it's so that when you water it won't spill over onto the pavement and cause it to be slippery. so anyway this lazy ass bulldog was sooo lazy to keep its foot in the air, it rested it's balls on the elevated ground. and because the initial touch was kinda cold he twitched in this really weird awkward manner as if he was saying, "omg my balls" ahhh i can't put it into words. it was so damn freaking funny. ahahahahahahhaa.
okay i hope you share my amusement about the dog and his cold balls.

the weather was freezing. it dropped to below 10degrees celsius. we were dying.
it had been raining the day before so the feels were all muddy and squishy. hahah it was damn fun rolling around in the mud though :)
the view! william's college is the top liberal arts college in the states. hahaa some trivial.
it was the uni that wang lee hom went to. yepp. i know my chinese artistes!
and it's in a valley so it gets really really cold!
oh and they have a huge compound. they have all kinds of fields!

the cake we "made" from magnolia bakery. this bakery is infamous for having the greatest cakes. it's so rich and yummy. you want a cake you have to order 3months in advance. there are queues that go around the block! i'm not kidding. i had to queue for an hour and a half the first time i went. IT WAS DAMN GOOODD. but hah. i don't have the kinda time anymore :(
