phew. the past week has been rather. busy. maybe because there's this sudden surge of work. after the long summer break, it's taking some time for me to get back into the rhythm of things. so let's track back.
thursday night i had training and i cooked udon for the first time. DAMN THAT STOVE. took forever to heat up. to get the water boiling. to get the udon nice and fat. BUT when it finally did get cooked it tasted SOOO good! maybe because i was damn hungry by then, or could be that my cooking is incredible. HAH i doubt. i believe it was the fact that i was so damn hungry added to the fact that i felt such great contentment from cooking my first udon meal. i dont know. when you cook for yourself, there's all the hard labour involved (okay maybe for me only since i cant cook for shit) all that blood and sweat. just makes it taste better. hah. so thursday night was wasted away. eating and gossiping with the housemates. and rotting infront of the telly. omg what a change from being in florence. all reasons to procrastinate right here.
friday morning was wasted away because i slept. then i had to rush down to school to attend the club meeting for ultimate frisbee. yes people, i'm joining the ultimate frisbee club. i can't possibly join the varsity teams when i have absolutely NO experience whatsoever in any of the sports. probably get my ass kicked so hard i can fly to the moon and back. but damn. i wished i could play some soccer. would keep me as fit as hockey would. but nevermind. so it turns out, we train pretty often, which is just the way i like it. and we travel to games YAY :D hahaha the last time they travelled all the way to florida and i think san fran? to play the away games. great way to tour the US! hahahaha. okay so the fact that they travelled quite a bit to play games was another incentive to join :D
after i met up with fz and jc to watch HAIRSPRAY! hahahahaha i loveddd it. i felt like singing and dancing along. hahahaha. i liked the original version that was done years ago so i was sure i was in for a ball of a time. the theatre was full of energy. or maybe it was just me.
omgg. my favourite of favourite is JOHN TRAVOLTA! hahahahahaha holy crap he is sooo damn cute and sooo damn funnyy. i tell you, the guy must have been paid a shitload of money. he had to dance in heels and he did it pretty well. i was impressed. i can barely walk in heels, let alone DANCE in them. omgg. how does he do it. and queen latifah really fills up the screen (not literally) but like. okay whatever. they were my 2 favourite characters. and amanda bynes irritated the shit outta me. ECKK. but nevermind, it was a feel-good movie with great meaning.
jc came home with us and fz cooked us steak for dinner. sooo good. i could get used to being cooked moroccan food! okay but i should seriously start learning to cook real things so i can cook for them too. :) thursday night dinners!
the other girls in the suite were off. georgia went to her place in brooklyn to pick up her pet snake, ziggy. sooo cute! it's soo small and tiny and nice to touch. and it's reddish orange. i believe it's a tree snake. can't remember. julie went up to connecticut to get her card and groceries and work. lani worked at fashion week for the weekend and was staying with her sister. she saw tons of famous people. she was raving on and on about it, but i think she was more happy about the money she earned ($10 an hour) and the free clothing she got. AHH i love her white high tops! so damn niceeee. shits. lo was over at her place at E72nd to be with her family. hannah went off to meet her boyfriend. leaving 3 sad souls at home. hah. but oh well.
saturday meya came over. she's fz's close friends. and she's gorgeous. omgg i think i wanna have a crush on her. we had a korean dinner at ktown. SOO GOOD. CHAN IF YOU ARE READING THIS, COME OVER AND I WILL BRING YOU THERE!
sunday (or rather what was left of it) was spent at church, watching a marathon of america's next top model and rushing hw :( that sucked.
and now that school has really begun, i have shit loads to do :(
OH OH we are trying to start a FIELD HOCKEY CLUB! hahahahaha. okay that's it. bye :D
