i just started p1s this week. what a change from those horrid little devils in p4. acting big like they own the school. tsk.

anyhow. on sunday it was family visiting day for the ocs boys. i met andrew's family at clementi mrt. i'm still having trouble recognising their car, but i will always remember andrew's mother's wave. it's like my mom's. very motherly and panicky. k i've no idea how to describe it. but ya. anyhow, it was a good day spent with andrew :) yay! he gets out this weekend. it's been horrid the past 2 weeks. he calls me and mumbles for 5minutes and then it's lights out. so darn hectic in there. plus he didn't even get the chance to book out to go for his scholarship interviews. how unreasonable is that. but thank God, firefly called him for another interview this sunday! yay! another chance! :)

oh and andrew's in NAVY! hahaha. though i don't really know what's up with that. but from what i've heard it's pretty different. not much physical stuff for the next 3 months. just lots and lots of mugging. which i bet andrew's dreading but oh well. you can't have everything right?

okay. enough of andrew. let's move on to my dearest team mate TAN LEE LENG! whee! she got into NYP after waiting for so long!! i can just imagine the wait babe. US unis replies take forever, and when i got them i was so relieved. though some weren't positive. but it's all good :)

so on to some bad news. i got rejected by Northwestern, Brown and Johns Hopkins. oh well. i knew my chances when i was applying but all's good. :) in the process of applying for these unis, i had to do some hard thinking about what i wanted to pursue and i guess it gave me an opportunity to consider what i want and expect the next 4 years or more. :) NYU is looking really attractive right now. i get to be in Florence, Italy. what an opportunity. hahaha and i'm going to be such a nerd, reading all the Great Books on history, literature, life sciences. i can just see myself in thick spectacles (preferably red framed). oh well.
